Kent Hall attended the press conference for the soon to happen opening of the newest branch of the Louisville Free Public Library – Northeast Regional Branch.

It’s mammoth in size and ambition for a regional library. Approximately 40,000 sq. ft with 120,000 books and materials, innovative creator-space, audio-visual lab, demonstration kitchen, first ever cafe for a library and first to feature walking paths, spacious green space and outdoor gardens to create and incorporate outdoor learning space. It’s going to be like a library park.
